Whiskey 4: The Party's Over

Running Time: 45 minutes

The trials and tribulations of Teddy Schucks is intriguing, sickening and often tiring. The initial opening hucks had me amazed. They had hucks for openers! You can't do that. Then we are introduced to Teddy's troubles.

The climax begins before the movie even starts and we are witness only to Teddy's downfall. It's a snowboard movie so his demise is almost instantaneous — from top of the world to crooked in the gutter with Tom Waits.

"It is funny how it leaves you guessing if some are paid participants or just pissed off victims..."

So I enjoyed the Trevor Andrew in his own private Idaho part, along with the slew of spinning Canucks, but it doesn't make up for the silly drunken Teddy getting everyone to hate him. That's so '80s.

I found the film crew that followed him redundant. You know there's the film crew filming the film crew, but then they show you them cleaning up Teddy's gack. To imply in the end that they're not using fake gack? It is funny how it leaves you guessing if some are paid participants or just pissed off victims.

If you own Whiskey 1, 2, & 3 just finish it all, end the party with Whiskey 4: The Party's Over. If not, rent it. — Hans Prosl, Mountain Zone Staff
