Hello Mountain Zone, this is Ellie Henke at Alpine Ascents International Base Camp and just calling in to let you know that we heard from Willi and the team a little while ago, just after 7am, 7am our time. They were at that time just below the South Summit. Everybody was doing well and they were watching the weather.

We've been watching a big band of clouds come in this morning and from down here what looked like pretty good wind along with them. But apparently talking to the team up there, it's not as windy as it looks, and they're trying to assess the clouds to make a decision on how serious this weather looks. As the minutes go by, it's starting to look a little bit better and I have not heard right back from the team. So I'm assuming that they're moving on ahead, and we'll hear again, hear from them again shortly.

So as of this point it looks like still all systems are go and the team is heading on up the mountain, but keeping a real close eye on the weather. So we'll keep you posted as things develop from Mount Everest. This is goodbye for now from Everest Base Camp.
