Ross Powers and Ina Poetzl Take Vans Triple Crown #3
Ross Powers spun out of Sierra-at-Tahoe in his shiny new Ford Ranger with $10,000 in his pocket after taking the halfpipe contest and the Vans Triple Crown overall title. And for the ladies, Norway's Ina Poetzl takes the crown and heads to the shores of Oahu.

The snowboard cross was never fully realized, thanks to the consistent dumpage, but the halfpipe finally started late Saturday afternoon. The fun lasted until way past midnight and the comp was run marathon style — one run qualifiers and finals back to back.

Team Blue Window dominated the boardercross, throwing down five podium spots. Josh "Dirk Diggler" Dirksen took the big air with a tender frontside 9, and Ross Powers and Nicola Thost flew highest in Sunday's halfpipe finals.
