Daron Rahlves: Hey, this is Daron Rahlves. I'm happy to be back in Bormio; it's been I think since '95 for the World Cup Finals since we've been here, and it's perfect conditions. The snow's hard, sunny, warm — just the way I like it. It's a good way to end the World Cup season off with these perfect conditions and a good season for me too.

Two weekends ago, up in Norway, pretty much made my season with two wins and a 5th place in super G, and I'm just looking forward to capping it off strong and ending the season here in Bormio with pretty much the same kind of feeling I had in Norway and trying to put USA back on the top. So, we'll see how it goes, but I'm really excited to get back up on the hill and ski on the downhill boards and super G skis. Thanks.

Patrick Lang: And Daron Rahlves, of course, always ready for partying, and the partying he's going to do when he's back at Lake Tahoe.

DR: Party, party large. It's going to be fun this week too, and I'm looking forward to making some good parties here in Bormio as well.

PL: And the secret to being in great shape is powder skiing at Lake Tahoe?

DR: It helped, powder skiing at Lake Tahoe. For me, to be skiing fast is just having a good time, enjoying every day I'm out there on the skis and hanging out with some great people around here. It's going to be a little sad to see everybody leave for the summer, but on the way back next season, we'll get back into hanging out with everybody — familiar faces in the World Cup.

PL: What's more exciting than to beat the sh*! out of the Austrians?

DR: It feels good. It feels good to take down the Europeans and the Austrians are tough and they'll be tough here this week too — so will the Italians and Swiss and French and all those guys, and the Norwegians. But you know, I'm tough too so I'm looking forward to giving my best shot.

PL: Thank you Daron, we'll read about your races on MountainZone.com. Thank you.
