Looking down from the Hillary Step in 1992 as climbers make the exposed traverse from the South Summit (28,700') considered to be the most dangerous part of the summit climb. To the right is the 8,000 foot southwest Face of Everest and to the left the 10,000 foot Kangshung Face.
