Ciao Mountain Zone, here is Simone Moro again. Today is 19th May and I am in the Base Camp. Yesterday I spoke to you about my problem in the left leg, my bone. This morning was, surprisingly, very good and so I can walk until here the Base Camp and I feel good. Now I am in the tent with Beno, Benedict, the Georgian who climbed Lhotse the 15th of May. And he's helping me to find the motivation to try the traverse. In fact, tomorrow I and Denis we will start and we will go to Camp II, after tomorrow South Col. The day after should be the summit of Everest and then if we find power and motivation we will continue on Lhotse. Stay with us, this is the most important day of our whole expedition and I hope to give you the presents of both summits, bye. Simone Moro, MountainZone.com Correspondent |
