Team has Landed Saturday, June 5, 1999
We just landed about three hours ago. It's beautiful here. There're some high winds up high and a little windy down low, but other than that it's great. Everybody's here: Al Hanna, Wally, he still can't tell the difference from Denali or Greenland. It's just such a quick turnaround, I think I just lost you though...

Hi Mountain Zone, it's Wally Berg again. I'm calling you,it hasn't been very long, I'm calling you this time from a different place. It looks much the same. I'm on a glacier. It's always light. I'm at a high latitude, but we're in Greenland rather than Denali. Myself, Todd and Cathy, Al Hanna, John Dufficy were flown into the Watkins Glacier today, this is June 5th, and what a wonderful, beautiful place. Coming off of Denali, we can really appreciate the much milder conditions here. We're at about 7000', roughly the same, actually about 7600', roughly the same as the Kahiltna Base, but...[transmissions fails]
