The Chariot Races wins international ski film festival.
In its first film festival appearance last month, THE CHARIOT RACES garnered two trophies, including the Best of Festival Grand Prize. The event was the 22nd Annual International Ski Film Festival, held in Crested Butte, Colorado, with stiff competition from the U.S. and abroad, including Warren Miller's latest feature, SNOWRIDERS. Filmmaker Schneider was totally suprised at the film's performance: "This film has only about 10 minutes (roughly 30%) of skiing in it, so I wasn't quite sure how the judges would respond. I guess they liked it."
THE CHARIOT RACES is being distributed through Live Wire Media, and will be targeted toward libraries, schools, hospitals, and various institutions where many people can access the film. If you are interested in purchasing a copy, please give them a call (1-800-359-5437).
