Peter is a former National cross-country ski racer and has served in the British Special Forces. He has competed in endurance events since 1982, and has raced in eight Karrimor International Mountain Marathons and five Saunders Mountain Marathons. He is an experienced marathon kayaker including the 135km River Weser race in Germany. He also enjoys running, skiing, cycling, horseback riding and orienteering and has been climbing for 18 years. Peter manages a Nordic ski center and is a Level I Nordic coach and instructor. |

Liza has competed in numerous endurance competitions since 1991 including: five Karrimor International Mountain Marathons, three Sauders Mountain Marathons and several Olympic distance triathlons. She is a CANSI Nordic ski instructor and a BCU Open Canoe Senior instructor. She is also a proficient in mountaineering, skiing, running, cycling and orienteering. Liza has led wilderness treks throughout the Canadian and Scottish mountains for the last 20 years and has trekked and climbed through the Himalayas, Central and South America, the Alps and the Dolomites. |
