Jorge is an accomplished mountaineer holding record ascents such as the three highest peaks in Mexico in 16 hours, 40 minutes and the 10 highest peaks in Mexico in six days. He has over 500 ascents over 5000 meters and is the president of Section Toluca. He has participated in 28 mountaineering expeditions around the world including four Himalayan ascents over 8000 meters. Jorge is an expert kayaker with many class V descents and was on the national tour of whitewater kayaking. He also has over 100 climbing trips in the caves of Mexico.

Carmen is the first mountaineer (man or woman) to ascent the 10 highest peaks in South America from 1984-1997. She has participated in 22 mountaineering expeditions throughout the world with three Himalayan ascents over 8000 meters. She has more than 400 ascents over 5000 meters in Mexico and is the first Mexican woman to ascend the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th and 10th highest peaks in South America. Carmen also has over 20 kayaking descents up to class IV and was the first place woman on the National Rafting Tour in 1994 and 1996. She is a climbing and caving instructor with her husband Jorge.

Jesus has been a rock climbing and caving instructor since 1985 and has over 300 ascents over 5000 meters in Mexico. He has completed 75 marathons, 25 cross-country races and over 50 kayak and canoe trips in Mexico. He placed 5th in the 1995 National Cross Country race in the masters division and 19th in the 1996 open division. He finished the 1997 and 1998 International Iztaccihuatl Sky Marathon.

Juan has numerous ascents in Peru, Argentina, China and Mexico in his 22 years of mountaineering. He competed in the Sky Marathon 1996-1998. In 1997 he made three ascents and descents of the volcano Iztaccihuatl in 15:30. He shares the record ascent of the three highest mountains in Mexico in 16:40 with Jorge Hermosillo. Juan is an expert kayaker who placed first in the National Whitewater Tour in 1994 and 1995.
