Soeren is a former member of the Jaeger Corps special forces where he learned arctic warfare and survival training for four years. He is an experienced mountaineer with several ascents over 4500m including Mont Blanc. He also enjoys rock and ice climbing, lake kayaking, white water canoeing, snowboarding, windsurfing, parachuting, triathlons, marathons, orienteering and mountain biking.

Gitte is an alpine skiing instructor having taught in Austria, France, the US, New Zealand and Chile. She placed 3rd in the 1994 Danish Championships of freestyle skiing and has seven years of experience in randonnée and extreme skiing. Gitte also enjoys windsurfing, water skiing, diving and roller blading and speaks five languages.

Athletic Resume: Lars is the 1998 Guinness World Record holder for tandem high altitude parachuting with over 1500 jumps. He has been a member of the Military National Cross Country Team for five years and was on the Military National Orienteering Team for eight years. He is a former Danish triathlon champion and was on the national team for three years. He is an experienced in mountaineering, horseback riding, lake kayaking and has knowledge of all types of rappelling as a ropes instructor in the special forces. Lars has had 10 years of arctic warfare and survival training experience.
