$110,000 in prize monies will be awarded at this year's Championship along with several titles. The top 15 men and women at the World Championship will share $50,000 in cash and the winner will be the XTERRA World Champion.

The World Championship is also the culmination of the Nissan Xterra Points Series, which will pay the top-10 men's and women's points scorers $60,000 for their performance over the course of the season, and will include double points for their Maui finish. More than 70 pro athletes have participated in the series this year.

The event will be televised on CBS and will be broadcast on Saturday, January 13, at 1pm EST. It will also be syndicated to international markets including Europe, Asia, and South America.
